The 24-105 STM is 395g. The 24-105 is three times the price of the 18-150 when you purchase the lens as a kit with the R7, $1299 vs $400. The STM version is a good bit cheaper than that. I own the 24-105, but still went with the R7/18-150 kit to avoid the added weight.
